It is made up by fifteen tradicional vineyards of the provincie: Viñedos Puertas, Altacima, Aresti, Bodegas y Viñedos Dusaillant, Correa Albano, Echeverria, Inés Escobar, Las Pitras, Mario Edwards, Miguel Torres, Millaimán, Pirazzolli, San Pedro, Santa Hortensia y Valdivieso. Many of these can be seen from the 5 South highway and they are completely prepared and equipped for attending visitors, giving tours into their facilities and wineyards, showing the wine production processes and awards achieved, and ending with a tasting of their best wines.They also have a sales room. Some tours include visits to typical towns, monuments, museums, handcrafting centers and coast and mountain zones. Some events are held in differents times of the year such as the “Night of the Carmenere” in Vichuquén at the end of January and the grapevine harvest festival, the third week of March in the city of Curicó.
The Curicó Valley has 17.104,4 hectares of planted vines, and has optimum weather and soil conditions for the growing of fine stock such as the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenére, Malbec and Syrah. The wines of Curicó are exported around the world, for example: England, Canada, USA, Germany, Sweden, France, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, among others.
